Description
This Christmas village figurine is the 'Cat in the Hat' from Department 56's The Grinch Village collection. The cat is black and white, and his long black tail is made from a brush-like material, which only adds to his overall cuddle factor. He's wearing his signature tall red-and-white striped hat, with a big red bow tied around his neck. In his hands, the 'cat in the hat' is holding a stack of presents, topped with a fishbowl out of which 'The Fish' - also known as Carlos K. Krinklebine - is leaping. The cat glides along on red skis over the snowy base, keeping this Christmas ornament firmly in place. The facial details and fishbowl craftsmanship really show off the exceptional attention to detail Department 56 is known for. This figurine comes in a beautiful, sturdy gift box. It's part of the officially licensed collection inspired by Dr. Seuss' beloved classic 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas!', bringing the whimsical world of Whoville to life with illuminated buildings, figures and accessories that capture every iconic moment from the story. In short, an absolute must-have for fans and collectors of The Grinch Christmas village.
