This special edition was released to mark Amsterdam 750 years and is finished in authentic Delft Blue using transfer technique (height approx. 17 cm).

Proud Mary is a modern tribute to Mary II, wife of stadtholder Willem III, who was known during the Golden Age as a collector of Delft Blue. This historical inspiration sparked the idea of giving Royal Delft's iconic Delft Blue a modern twist. The figurine consists of four interchangeable parts: the head, the collar, the bodice and the skirt. Proud Mary was designed by Koens & Middelkoop, and the Delft Blue design was subsequently hand-finished by the designers and master painters of Royal Delft.
