Buying Villeroy & Boch Christmas at The Christmas Shop
Villeroy & Boch has been making porcelain since the 18th century, and that experience shows in every Christmas piece. The collection is built around familiar motifs: toy figures, gingerbread, nutcrackers and the characters from the Erzgebirge mountains, hand-painted and fired at high temperature. At The Christmas Shop you'll find the complete Villeroy & Boch Christmas range, from dinnerware and music boxes to ornaments and decorations for your tree and festive table.
Villeroy & Boch is best known at Christmas for Toy's Delight, a porcelain dinnerware collection with nostalgic toy motifs in red, green and gold. The range also includes the white Royal Classic, the Winter Bakery Delight baking collection, and the Christmas Toys line of music boxes and decorations.
Villeroy & Boch Christmas dinnerware and Toy's Delight
The Christmas dinnerware is the heart of the Villeroy & Boch collection. Toy's Delight is the best-known series, with colourful toy figures on plates, bowls and mugs. If you prefer something cleaner and more classic, there's the white Royal Classic with its relief detailing, or Winter Bakery Delight for your festive baking. You'll find the full range of plates, dishes and mugs on the Villeroy & Boch Christmas dinnerware page.
Music boxes and the Christmas Toys collection
The porcelain music boxes from Villeroy & Boch bring sound and movement into the home. A Santa turns to 'Santa Claus is coming to town', a nutcracker plays 'Waltz of the Flowers', and a gingerbread house plays 'Let it snow' once you wind it up. These belong to the Christmas Toys and Nostalgic Melody collections. The complete selection is on the Villeroy & Boch music boxes page.
Villeroy & Boch Christmas decorations and ornaments
The Christmas decorations from Villeroy & Boch finish off your tree and your home. Think porcelain ornaments, candle holders and the yearly Annual Christmas Edition, a set of collector's pieces with a fresh theme each time. The delicate snow globes fit in beautifully too. Pair them with our other snow globes, or browse the full Villeroy & Boch Christmas decorations for your table and tree.
Villeroy & Boch as a Christmas gift
Villeroy & Boch makes a gift that lasts. The Annual Christmas Edition comes in an attractive gift box and includes a plate, bowl, mug, ball and bell ornament with a new motif each year. Many people build their collection this way, year after year. Start with a basic Toy's Delight set and add serving pieces or a music box later, so your festive table grows along with you.
