Metzler Bros Christmas ornament - Parrot

Handmade glass Christmas ornament of a striking parrot by Metzler Bros. This eye-catching parrot, also known as the blue-and-yellow macaw, features the vivid shades of red, blue and yellow. Just like the real bird, the wing plumage displays the characteristic colours of yellow and blue, with green accents at the transition. The distinctive black-and-white area around the beak and the pale bare cheek patches are also faithfully recreated on this glass work of art. The parrot sits elegantly in place (on a perch), showing off its colourful plumage and elegant long tail. The bird is approximately 30.5 cm long. Thanks to the intricate details, this tropical bird truly comes to life – in short, a stunning eye-catcher in any Christmas tree.
