Description
Beautifully decorated Hollywood Adler nutcracker with an Alice in Wonderland theme: the Mad Hatter. The nutcracker is made entirely of wood and decorated with glitter and various types of fabric.
The Mad Hatter first appears in 1895 in the book "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". In "Chapter Seven - A Mad Tea-Party", while Alice is exploring Wonderland, she encounters the Mad Hatter having tea with the March Hare and the Dormouse.
This nutcracker was designed by artist Holly Adler, who has created an extensive collection of nutcrackers — the Hollywood collection — exclusively for Kurt S. Adler.
