Heinen advent calendar - Canal house

December only really feels like December once there's something to open every morning. The Advent House by Heinen Delfts Blauw is a canal house in miniature, complete with a grand stepped gable and a green Christmas garland running across the front, finished off with a red bow. From the bottom brick to the rooftop, it's all done in Delft blue, made from sturdy cardboard.

Behind the windows and door you'll find twelve little compartments. From mid-December onwards, you open one each day and discover a ceramic Delft blue gift inside. A small moment with a big effect: by the end of the month, you've collected twelve little presents and Christmas is right around the corner.

Three Dutch traditions come together here: the facades of Amsterdam's canal houses, the centuries-old craft of Delft blue pottery, and the countdown to Christmas. With this advent calendar, Heinen Delfts Blauw brings a sense of nostalgia while helping you create brand new memories.

Place the house on a cabinet, a sideboard or on your windowsill, somewhere everyone walks past. Even once all the compartments are empty, this stately canal house still looks gorgeous as Christmas decoration. A lovely gift for anyone who loves the Netherlands, Delft blue and Christmas traditions.
