Alessi Christmas bauble - Delight - Red - Set of 2

Glass red and gold Christmas ball set from the Delight Collection by Italian brand Alessi. The two Christmas balls each feature a different design. One Christmas ball has a shiny red top with golden arches. The other Christmas ball is entirely covered in a shiny red scale texture. The Delight Collection was designed by designer Nika Zupanc, who brings traditional Christmas colours back in a trendy and eclectic style. The Christmas balls are blown in a spherical mould and then coloured through a complex process. The inside of the Christmas balls is painted first, after which the outside is treated with a red PVD coating. A laser process is then used to remove the red colour from specific parts of the ball. The golden details are applied to the Christmas ball by hand. The Christmas balls have a diameter of approximately 6 cm.
