Alessi Christmas bauble - Delight - Red - Set of 2

Glass red and gold Christmas ornament set from the Delight Collection by Italian brand Alessi. The two Christmas ornaments each feature a different design. One ornament has vertical shiny stripes interrupted in the middle by a white area with gold dots. The other ornament also features red shiny vertical stripes, broken up by a white and gold horizontal stripe. The Delight Collection was designed by designer Nika Zupanc, who brings traditional Christmas colours back in a trendy and eclectic style. The Christmas ornaments are blown in a spherical mould and then coloured through a complex process. The inside of the ornaments is painted first, after which the outside is treated with a red PVD coating. A laser process is then used to remove the red colour from specific areas of the ornament. The gold details are applied to the ornament by hand. The Christmas ornaments have a diameter of approximately 6 cm.
