Buying Enzo de Gasperi at The Christmas Shop
Enzo de Gasperi, EDG for short, is an Italian brand known for refined home and Christmas decorations. You can spot the design by its classic base with a playful, modern twist. At The Christmas Shop you shop a curated selection from this large Italian collection, from porcelain Christmas tableware to glass tealight holders. Many pieces are also on display in our Delft shop, where you can see them sparkle in person.
Italian design with a cheerful twist
The hallmark of EDG is the balance between elegance and humour. A nutcracker looks just as at home on a storage jar as on a mug, and a reindeer winks back at you from the porcelain. The colours stay warm and festive: deep red, classic green, gold and white. That makes the pieces work in a traditional tree just as well as on a more colourful, playful Christmas table.
EDG Christmas tableware: mugs, teapots and storage jars
The Enzo de Gasperi Christmas tableware is perhaps the most popular range. The porcelain Christmas mugs often come in sets, featuring characters like the nutcracker, the reindeer or a cheerful elf. You will also find teapots and storage jars in the same style, perfect for keeping biscuits, tea or sweets. Pair them with our other Christmas mugs and your table is sorted, from breakfast to after-walk hot chocolate.
EDG candles and tealight holders
For atmosphere, turn to the glass tealight holders and candlesticks from EDG. A tea light behind frosted glass with a subtle Christmas tree gives that instant warm glow, while the candlesticks shaped like Father Christmas or a rabbit add a touch of fun. Italian glasswork stands out for its fine finish. It looks lovely on the table or windowsill even in daylight, with the candle unlit.
Snow globes and Christmas branches from Enzo de Gasperi
The EDG snow globes bring a classic bit of Christmas magic indoors, some with a little music box that plays a tune. To dress your tree, the Christmas branches with silk or iridescent flowers are a lovely addition, easy to bend into shape thanks to the wire inside. The brand's glass Christmas ornaments give your tree that Italian accent too, with finely painted details that catch the light.
