Buy Decoris tree toppers at The Christmas Shop
Decoris tree toppers give your Christmas tree a surprising crown. Instead of the familiar star, this Dutch Christmas brand goes for glass figures with character, from a nutcracker to a Father Christmas at the very top. At The Christmas Shop, a Christmas specialist with its own shop in Delft, you will find the Decoris tree toppers neatly together. That makes it easy to pick a topper that matches the rest of your tree, or one that stands out as a cheerful eye-catcher up high.
What is a tree topper? A tree topper is the decoration you place on the very top of the Christmas tree to finish the look. Traditionally that is a star, but a glass Decoris topper can also be a figure, such as a nutcracker or a macaron. It slides over the top branch on a hollow base.
Glass figure toppers by Decoris
What makes Decoris toppers special is the figure shape. Many are mouth-blown and hand-painted, so the topper catches the eye as soon as the lights reflect off it. The nutcracker topper is a favourite and suits a traditional or Scandinavian tree nicely. A Father Christmas or a shiny stack of presents works well too. Glass gives the finest shine, so give the topper a spot where the light reaches it.
A topper with a wink
Not every topper has to be classic. Decoris also makes playful toppers that give your tree a personal twist, such as a stack of pastel macarons, a retro caravan or an espresso cup for the coffee lover. Lovely as a surprise atop an otherwise understated tree, or as a thread through a colourful, eclectic theme. Feel free to pair the topper with matching Decoris ornaments for a coherent look.
The crown of your tree
The right topper depends on your tree. A larger tree carries a sturdy figure topper with ease, while a slim or small tree calls for something lighter. Match the colours to your Decoris baubles and perhaps the Decoris nutcrackers for a finished look. Want more inspiration? Browse the full Decoris Christmas decorations.
