Buy Decoris Christmas ornaments at The Christmas Shop
Decoris Christmas ornaments are the eye-catchers that make your tree personal. What this Dutch Christmas brand does best is variety: alongside classic figures you will find quirky ornaments you would not quickly spot elsewhere, from a boxing glove to a violin and a whole row of animals. At The Christmas Shop, a Christmas specialist with its own shop in Delft, you can browse the complete Decoris ornament range in one place. That makes it easy to build your tree around a theme that suits you, whether traditional, playful or a mix of both.
What is the difference between a bauble and a Christmas ornament? A bauble is round and mainly decorative, while an ornament can take any shape and often depicts a figure, such as an animal, an instrument or a snack. Decoris ornaments are usually made of glass, plastic or metal and hang from the branch on a small loop.
Glass and plastic Decoris ornaments
Glass ornaments give your tree that little bit of extra shine. Many Decoris pieces are mouth-blown and hand-painted, so each figure is slightly different from the next. Prefer something that can take a knock? The plastic ornaments are light and shatterproof, handy with children or pets about. Decoris also works with materials such as metal and felt, for a nostalgic bird or a little house, say. Each product page tells you which material it is.
A tree full of figures
The charm of Decoris lies in the figures. You will find whole little worlds: circus animals such as an elephant and a lion, musical ornaments like a drum or violin, and a cheerful snack line with typically Dutch treats such as fries, poffertjes and oliebollen. Mix different themes for an eclectic tree, or keep it calm with a single style. Want to look beyond the ornaments? Have a look at the Decoris baubles and the Decoris tree toppers to finish your tree.
Decoris ornaments as a gift
A Decoris ornament is a gift that lasts. Many figures come in an attractive gift box, and an ornament from the baby's first Christmas line makes a personal new-baby present that returns to the tree year after year. Looking for something for a real Christmas lover? A set of special ornaments, or a nod to the Decoris nutcrackers, always goes down well.
