Buying Christmas baubles at The Christmas Shop
Buying Christmas baubles is worth a little thought, because the right bauble stays in your tree for years. That's why we work with brands that take the craft seriously, such as Inge Glas, Goodwill, Decoris and Kurt S. Adler. Many of our glass baubles are mouth-blown in Europe and finished by hand. Whether you like an understated tree or one that really stands out, our collection has baubles to match. You can also see them in our Christmas shop in Delft.
Christmas baubles come in glass, plastic, wood and porcelain. Glass baubles are blown and silvered on the inside, which gives them a deep, warm shine. Plastic ones won't break, handy with children or pets around. Wood and porcelain add a warmer, more handcrafted feel to your tree.
Glass Christmas baubles
Glass Christmas baubles are the timeless choice for a beautiful tree. The thin layer of real silver inside catches the light and gives that warm glow once the lights are on. For more depth, go for clear glass baubles that let your fairy lights shine through. Mix matte and glossy finishes to give your tree some texture. For something special, take a look at our hand-painted Christmas ornaments.
Christmas baubles in every colour
Colour sets the whole mood of your tree. Red and gold baubles give that familiar, warm Christmas feel, while silver and white keep things cool and wintry. Clear baubles add calm and depth, especially with plenty of lights behind them. For a woodland tree, brown and green work well, and blue baubles give a winter theme an extra layer. Don't be afraid to mix both colour and size.
Special and luxury Christmas baubles
Special baubles are the ones your guests point at. Think onion shapes, icicles and hand-painted details, often made in small batches. The luxury is in the craft and the finish, not in a flashy price tag. Hang a few among your basic baubles and your tree instantly gains character. Pair them with glass tree toppers and other Christmas tree decorations.
Sets or single Christmas baubles
A set of Christmas baubles gives you a coordinated tree straight away, with colours and sizes that match. Single baubles are there to make that set your own, or to add something new each year. With us you can do both. Start with a base in one or two colours and build your own collection around it.
Storing your Christmas baubles
Store your Christmas baubles in a box with compartments, so glass doesn't knock against glass. Wrap the most delicate ones loosely in tissue paper before you put them away. An empty egg carton works well for the smaller baubles, and it's the sustainable option too. That way your favourites come out of storage intact next year.
