Buy Christmas candlesticks at The Christmas Shop
A Christmas candlestick is a holder for a dinner candle with a festive design, such as a Father Christmas, a nutcracker or a gold finish. It lifts the flame above the plates, where a tea light holder keeps it low. That makes candlesticks a natural fit for the Christmas table, the mantelpiece or a windowsill.
Our candlesticks are meant to be noticed. Among all our Christmas candle holders, these are the showpieces: resin figures by EDG and Goodwill, classic brass by Decoris, and glass or wooden designs that work both ways, with a dinner candle on one side and a tea light on the other. Not sure about height or colour? You can see and buy them in our shop in Delft as well.
Father Christmas, nutcracker and Christmas tree candlesticks
A figure candlestick decorates the table even before the candle is lit. EDG, the Italian brand founded by Enzo De Gasperi, likes a bold character: a red and white Father Christmas, or a card soldier straight out of Wonderland. You will also find a nutcracker, a Christmas tree, cardinals on a branch and a dachshund in a striped jumper, by Goodwill and HD Collection among others. The figures are made of resin, not glass, which keeps every detail crisp.
Gold, silver and brass candlesticks
Gold and silver suit a classic Christmas table. The metal candlesticks by Decoris come in gold, silver and brass, from 15 cm to just over 45 cm tall. Line up three in different heights and you have a centrepiece. The trumpet candlestick stands out more: gold-coloured metal shaped like a trumpet, in two sizes. Would you rather not watch the flame all evening? Most candlesticks also take LED dinner candles.
Advent candle holders for four candles
An Advent candle holder counts down the four Sundays before Christmas. You light one more candle each Sunday, until all four burn on the last one. The Advent wreaths by Goodwill hold four dinner candles and come with holly and red berries or with pine cones. Unlike a wreath of fresh greenery, they never shed needles, so the same wreath comes out again every year.
