The Christmas Shop is one of the few year-round Christmas shops in the Netherlands, with more than 1,500 different ornaments, nutcrackers, snow globes and tree toppers. We hand-pick our collection from suppliers across Europe, choosing quality and character over the lowest price.
Christmas decorations are everything you use to dress your home and your tree for the festive season. Our focus is on the special pieces: mouth-blown baubles, hand-painted ornaments, wooden nutcrackers, snow globes and nativity scenes. No mass production, just Christmas decorations with a story behind them.
Baubles, ornaments and tree toppers
The Christmas tree is the heart of the home for most people, and a large part of our range is built around it. You'll find classicglass baublesin red, gold and white, alongside characterfulChristmas ornamentsshaped like a mushroom, a fox or a ballerina. And once the tree is nearly done, a beautifulglass tree topperfinishes it off.
Handmade from glass, porcelain and wood
Real materials make all the difference, and you feel it the moment you pick up an ornament. Our baubles are often mouth-blown and then hand-painted, in workshops that have done it this way for well over a century. At Inge Glas in Germany, around 15,000 moulds have been made across two centuries, with new ones added every year. Our nutcrackers are turned from lime wood and lacquered layer by layer, so they last for years.
Nutcrackers, snow globes and more for the home
Not everything has to hang on the tree. Awooden nutcrackeron the mantelpiece has guarded the winter for generations, and a snow globe with a turning scene brings movement to your decorations. For the table there's Christmas tableware and crackers, and many people like to hang Christmas stockings by the fireplace.
Christmas brands with a story
Behind many of our products is a brand with real history. Inge Glas Manufaktur, from Germany's Ore Mountains, still blows its ornaments the traditional way. England's Gisela Graham is known for refined, cheerful hangers, while Villeroy & Boch tableware has graced festive tables for generations. For something typically Dutch, Vondels and Royal Delft offer their recognisable Delft Blue ornaments, all of which you can also see in our shop in Delft.
